Requirements
- Proven experience owning payroll outcomes in regional or multi-country environments.
- Demonstrated people leadership capability, including coaching, feedback, and performance input.
- Experience leading investigations and driving operational resolution.
- Ability to clarify and consistently apply policies and controls.
- Experience recommending hiring profiles, team changes, and performance actions.
- Strong operational judgment balancing speed, accuracy, and customer impact.
- Clear, structured written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in remote-first or globally distributed teams.
- Fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of payroll specialists, providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Own end-to-end payroll delivery for a defined portfolio of countries, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Manage relationships with external payroll vendors to ensure high performance.
- Support critical global implementation initiatives, such as new country launches and vendor transitions.
- Identify operational risks, process gaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Translate complex payroll requirements into clear guidance for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Manage operational support for the service arm of the business, including tracking KPIs and quality metrics.
