Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or procurement.
- Proven experience managing purchase orders, inventory, production planning, and vendor relations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles including COGS, P&L, cash flow, and margin analysis.
- Expert-level proficiency with Google Sheets, including pivot tables, formulas, and large datasets.
- Advanced proficiency using AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT in daily operational workflows.
- Extremely tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
- Excellent written communication skills with a proactive, high-ownership approach.
- Highly organized and capable of managing competing priorities and high volumes of tasks.
- Strong forecasting and financial modeling capabilities.
- Experience working with freight carriers, manufacturers, and outside vendors.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end order lifecycle, from customer PO receipt to shipment, delivery, and invoicing.
- Coordinate inventory allocation, production planning, and material procurement across manufacturers and suppliers.
- Handle logistics, including freight quotes, shipping documentation, and identifying cost-reduction opportunities.
- Develop and maintain sales, inventory, and demand forecasts using financial and operational models.
- Perform financial analysis and accounting tasks, including COGS, gross margin, P&L reporting, and 3-way matching in QuickBooks.
- Use AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to analyze data, build SOPs, and automate repetitive operational workflows.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and traceability documentation requirements.
