Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in power generation, energy services, OEM support, or engineering consulting.
- Experience working directly with power plant owners, operators, utilities, or generation-sector stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of power generation asset lifecycle management, maintenance, and reliability.
- Proven business development, account management, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to establish credibility with technical professionals and executive stakeholders.
- Commercial mindset to convert technical challenges into business opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% as required.
- Strong integrity, professionalism, and commitment to client solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans for key accounts across the power generation sector.
- Establish and strengthen executive-level relationships with utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and independent power producers.
- Identify, qualify, and capture opportunities involving engineering, maintenance, reliability, and asset management.
- Lead opportunities from initial engagement to project award, developing capture strategies with internal technical teams.
- Maintain an opportunity pipeline and contribute to business development forecasting.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to plant managers, fleet leaders, and generation executives.
- Translate client challenges related to operations and asset performance into practical technical solutions.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, user groups, and technical forums.
