Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within healthcare, healthcare services, or revenue cycle management
- Working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes, including billing, coding, claims, payment posting, and AR
- Experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements
- Strong process mapping and workflow analysis skills
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Ability to translate complex operational needs into clear, actionable requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment
- HIPAA-compliant private workspace
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing revenue cycle workflows and identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Gather and document business requirements from operational teams and client stakeholders
- Map current and future-state processes across billing, coding, claims, payment posting, and AR
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and support business decisions
- Translate business needs into clear requirements for system, process, or reporting improvements
- Collaborate with RCM teams to investigate operational issues and develop practical solutions
- Support the implementation and testing of new processes, system enhancements, and workflow changes
- Prepare process documentation, requirements, reports, and presentations for relevant stakeholders
- Track improvement initiatives and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to project and operational teams
