Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 5–8 years of progressively responsible experience leading medium-sized or complex projects involving matrixed, cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or shop-floor environment, with exposure to product design and manufacturing execution systems.
- PMP certification or an equivalent project management qualification is highly preferred.
- Experience using project management tools and Microsoft Office applications, including Teams and Project.
- Strong ability to influence, motivate, and hold teams accountable without relying on direct reporting authority.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Lead concurrent projects across engineering, operations, and manufacturing, ensuring successful delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
- Establish milestones, goals, objectives, and priorities in collaboration with functional teams and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate business requirements gathering, documentation, validation, and stakeholder approval.
- Translate approved requirements into actionable tasks and establish priorities for project team members.
- Monitor project execution closely, proactively driving tasks to completion and addressing issues that could affect delivery.
- Manage resource capacity, time tracking, project KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Identify potential risks and problem areas, develop alternative solutions, and serve as an escalation point for conflict and issue resolution.
- Provide regular and concise project updates covering performance, variances, risks, issues, and corrective actions to stakeholders.
