Requirements
- 7+ years in product management, with significant experience in data platforms, developer tools, or infrastructure products.
- Experience designing for technical teams as the customer.
- Track record of shipping platform capabilities that enable self-service at scale.
- Experience operating in strategic ambiguity.
- Deep understanding of the modern data stack including warehouses, orchestration, semantic layers, catalogs, and observability.
- Familiarity with data mesh or federated data architecture.
- Strong systems thinking skills for designing operating models.
- Experience in restaurant tech, fintech, or B2B SaaS preferred.
- Familiarity with AI enablement and platform adoption metrics preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own the platform product roadmap, including catalog, semantic layer, observability, access management, lineage, and self-service tooling.
- Design and evolve self-service experiences such as discovery, onboarding, certification workflows, and documentation.
- Run discovery with technical data teams to identify needs and translate them into platform requirements.
- Design paved paths and templates for domain teams to build and maintain data products with enforceable governance standards.
- Drive platform adoption and measure engagement to iterate on features.
- Partner with Data Engineering & Platform to define capability requirements while balancing new features against operational excellence.
- Maintain interoperability so data products remain discoverable and consumable across the ecosystem.
