Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working remotely with a distributed team.
  • Proficiency in project management software, specifically Asana.
  • Experience using Google Workspace for team collaboration and documentation.
  • Strong skills in prioritization, planning, time management, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and enforce accountability.
  • Excellent facilitation and problem-solving skills, with comfort working in ambiguous environments.
  • Experience working across multiple time zones and cultures.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, being dependable and flexible.
  • Mission-driven mindset with an interest in the Wikimedia mission.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Marketing Manager to plan and execute social media campaigns and strategic communications projects.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects by establishing scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and communication plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across social media, creative, content, design, video, PR, marketing, and analytics teams.
  • Lead project kickoffs, status meetings, stakeholder check-ins, and retrospectives to maintain project momentum.
  • Build and manage project workflows in Asana, tracking dependencies, resources, risks, and shifting priorities.
  • Identify and resolve roadblocks or resource constraints, escalating critical issues as necessary.
  • Develop project documentation, processes, dashboards, and reporting to provide visibility into campaign performance.
  • Foster effective collaboration across time zones by establishing clear communication practices and team norms.
