Requirements

  • Approximately 5-12 years of experience in management consulting, insurance, workers’ compensation, claims, healthcare, or commercial strategy.
  • Deep understanding of Australia’s insurance or healthcare ecosystem, or clear evidence of the ability to develop this depth rapidly.
  • Demonstrated ability to move from strategy and problem definition to commercialization and implementation.
  • Experience originating and advancing complex B2B or B2B2C opportunities.
  • Strong strategic and commercial judgement to distinguish high-value opportunities.
  • Proven ability to structure complex problems, conduct rigorous analysis, and translate insights into action.
  • Skill in developing new propositions and commercial models rather than relying on existing playbooks.
  • Capability to work effectively across cross-functional teams including product, clinical, operational, and technical departments.
  • Credibility with senior external stakeholders and experience in building trusted relationships.
  • Experience in mental health, psychological injury, injury management, occupational rehabilitation, or digital health is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Build a detailed understanding of Australia’s insurance and workers’ compensation ecosystem and its stakeholders.
  • Identify and prioritize market segments, use cases, and opportunities where Intellect can create value.
  • Develop differentiated products, services, and commercial models based on unmet customer and claimant needs.
  • Map buyers and decision-makers to build and manage a pipeline of priority commercial opportunities.
  • Lead customer discovery, negotiations, and co-design conversations to secure paid engagements.
  • Establish trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across insurers, brokers, and healthcare providers.
  • Define the required operating model across clinical, technology, and service-delivery functions.
  • Track outcomes to refine the proposition and support scalable growth.
