Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree in HR, organizational psychology, or related field preferred.
- Fluent in English.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in HR Operations, including benefits administration and employee relations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Expertise in U.S. employment law and HR best practices (EEO, ADA, FMLA, DOL, OSHA).
- Experience managing union relationships, negotiations, and grievance processes preferred.
- Ability to conduct complex investigations and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel).
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the US People Operations team to foster a high-performance, service-oriented culture.
- Serve as the senior HR business partner and primary escalation point for employee relations and US labor/employment law compliance.
- Manage union relationships, including communications, negotiations, and grievance processes.
- Oversee US HR operations, including benefits governance, leave administration, payroll workflows, and HRIS data integrity.
- Conduct complex investigations and advise managers on performance management and disciplinary matters.
- Develop and present HR metrics and dashboards to inform leadership strategy and workforce planning.
- Maintain US HR policies, standard operating procedures, and the Employee Handbook to ensure legal compliance and cultural alignment.
