Requirements
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Active LCSW licensure in New York or Massachusetts.
- 3+ years of relevant clinical experience.
- Proven experience delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
- Experience teaching relaxation strategies and Motivational Interviewing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary care providers.
- Comfort and competence with electronic charting and administrative tools like Zoom and Google Drive.
- Prior experience with telehealth platforms is preferred.
- Experience with GI-focused care is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including MDs, Dietitians, and Nurse Practitioners.
- Provide GI-focused behavioral services using evidence-based interventions like CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
- Perform biopsychosocial assessments to design and implement patient-centered goals.
- Maintain accurate health records in an electronic health record system.
- Participate in clinical coordination meetings and professional training activities.
- Contribute to the development of company-wide psychological best practices.
