Job Details

J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
10+ years of progressively responsible legal experience, including substantial in-house technology or SaaS experience.
At least 3 years leading attorneys or legal professionals.
Significant experience independently structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial and strategic agreements.
Strong working knowledge of advertising and consumer protection laws including FTC, TCPA, and CAN-SPAM.
Experience with social influencer and affiliate marketing programs.
Proven ability to advise and influence senior executives.
Experience building scalable legal processes, templates, and playbooks.
Demonstrated ability to distinguish material risk and high-impact work.
Comfort operating with ambiguity and making sound, defensible decisions.

Serve as the senior legal advisor to go-to-market functions, including Marketing, Affiliate, Product Marketing, Business Development, Enterprise Sales, and Customer Marketing.
Advise on advertising and consumer protection matters, including FTC requirements, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and related state or international laws.
Build scalable compliance processes, training, and playbooks to enable GTM teams to move quickly.
Enforce legal frameworks for social influencer and affiliate programs, including influencer agreements and disclosure compliance.
Oversee the commercial legal function, setting clear expectations for risk management, responsiveness, and performance.
Partner with the VP of Legal to operationalize the company’s commercial risk framework and manage custom commercial agreement escalations.
Manage the company trademark portfolio, brand-protection program, and coordinate outside counsel.
