Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible legal experience; exceptional candidates with 8-9 years may be considered.

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
10+ years of progressively responsible legal experience.
Substantial in-house experience in technology or SaaS environments.
At least 3 years of experience leading attorneys or legal professionals.
Strong expertise in structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial and strategic agreements.
Deep knowledge of advertising and consumer protection laws (FTC, TCPA, CAN-SPAM).
Experience advising on social influencer and affiliate marketing programs.
Demonstrated ability to advise senior executives with clear, practical recommendations.
Experience creating scalable legal processes, templates, and negotiation guidelines.
Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Serve as the senior legal advisor to Marketing, Sales, Business Development, and Customer Marketing teams.
Advise on FTC, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and consumer protection requirements for marketing and promotional activities.
Guide legal strategy for AI-related marketing claims and AI tool usage.
Develop and maintain scalable legal playbooks, templates, and self-service resources.
Oversee influencer and affiliate marketing programs, including disclosure compliance and contractual frameworks.
Manage and enforce Terms of Service and commercial agreements for partnerships and enterprise customers.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of attorneys and legal professionals.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Privacy, Product, Finance, and executive leadership.
