Requirements

  • Valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
  • Field and office experience in land surveying.
  • Proven track record of managing survey crews.
  • Proven track record of acquiring new clients and generating new revenue.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation and drive.
  • Ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage survey technicians.
  • Perform boundary, easement, deed, and title reviews.
  • Conduct detailed research at the town, county, and state levels.
  • Evaluate surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and other materials to identify potential project constraints.
  • Determine the best approach to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Perform calculations of quantities and volumes.
  • Communicate with crew chiefs and the operations team on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate with drafting managers, design staff, and the operations team to provide status updates, discuss challenges, and address plan revisions.
