Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, ideally at a high-growth consumer technology or ecommerce company.
  • 1–2 years of experience at the Manager level or equivalent high-level ownership.
  • Deep fluency in e-commerce financial metrics including AOV, gross-to-net, unit economics, and contribution margin.
  • Expert-level financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) for financial workflows, reporting automation, and analysis.
  • Experience with financial planning systems such as NetSuite Planning & Budgeting or Oracle Hyperion.
  • Strong independent problem-solving skills with the ability to define approaches for ambiguous projects.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to senior leadership and the board.
  • High attention to detail with proven quality control and data integrity standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own financial visibility, efficiency, and performance for the Babylist Shop from topline through gross margin.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, Accounting, and Data teams to drive pricing, promotion, and investment decisions.
  • Manage forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for the E-commerce business.
  • Lead pricing and promotional analysis with a focus on ROI and financial impact.
  • Analyze Co-Op, DDA, and rebate programs to track accruals and assess financial impact.
  • Build and maintain executive-ready financial reporting, dynamic dashboards, and KPI tracking.
  • Identify and implement AI-enabled improvements across FP&A workflows to increase efficiency.
  • Contribute to monthly/quarterly board presentations and long-range planning initiatives.
