Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare risk management or patient safety.
- Experience in behavioral health settings (outpatient, telehealth, crisis, or inpatient).
- Direct experience in event investigation and corrective action management at high case volumes.
- Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to define denominators and interpret dashboards.
- Proven ability to drive corrective actions across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to present findings to senior clinical and business leadership.
- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.
- Experience building and scaling high-impact safety programs.
- CPHRM, CPPS, or equivalent patient safety credential (strongly preferred).
- Active clinical license such as RN, LCSW, LPC, or licensed psychologist (preferred).
- Experience with accreditation or delegated credentialing surveys (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Run intake, triage, and case management for reported safety events.
- Conduct reviews of serious events and identify contributing factors and harm severity.
- Convert findings into corrective and preventive actions and track them to verified closure.
- Manage the clinical risk dashboard and analyze trends in reported events.
- Produce metrics and narratives for quarterly Quality and Patient Safety Reports.
- Draft safety policies and event management protocols.
- Support regulatory and accreditation responsibilities in partnership with legal and compliance teams.
