Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 12+ years of related experience with progressively more responsibility.
- Proven track record of results in product and category strategy.
- Previous leadership and coaching experience.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking capabilities.
- Ability to lead through influence and collaborate across multiple functional areas.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity and dynamic, fast-paced work environments.
- Approximately 45% travel requirement.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for sales growth, margin improvement, and profitability within the Electrical Distribution business.
- Drive the innovation pipeline and product management for new and existing Electrical Distribution products.
- Direct strategic initiatives for product line additions, deletions, and platforming efforts.
- Monitor and anticipate customer needs by collaborating with sales, marketing, and competitive intelligence teams.
- Travel to meet with sales staff, distributors, and industry experts to determine future market needs.
- Identify and assess potential acquisitions within the business unit's product lines.
- Facilitate career development, mentorship, and talent bench strength within the team.
