Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience building, shipping, and maintaining scalable web applications and backend services.
- Experience leading and owning end-to-end projects with significant web application backend deliverables.
- Experience building commercial-grade web applications with modern, open-source, cloud technologies.
- Expertise in API design and writing data persistence layers.
- Experience with iterative agile delivery of applications, CI/CD, and writing highly maintainable code.
- Experience with mentoring, developing, and overseeing the work of less experienced engineers.
- Consistent access to a private work environment with high-speed internet and professional surroundings for video conferencing.
Responsibilities
- Use modern, open-source technologies like Typescript, React, GraphQL, and Node.js to architect, implement, test, and maintain critical product features.
- Collaborate with product managers, physicians, nurse practitioners, and other staff members to build solutions for patient care.
- Work across the stack from web interfaces to datastores and cloud infrastructure to solve problems.
- Operate with openness, integrity, and a low-ego approach to collaboration.
- Deliver value to users reliably and transparently while maintaining high standards for execution.
- Embrace Lean Startup behaviors to improve decision-making, technology, and process efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with teammates, managers, and stakeholders.
- Uphold high engineering standards and ensure consistency across codebases and processes.
