Requirements

  • 8+ years of agile delivery experience.
  • 4+ years in enterprise agile coaching, practice leadership, or transformation.
  • Experience implementing agile frameworks across diverse work types including software, infrastructure, operations, and shared services.
  • Strong Jira expertise in workflows, boards, templates, and reporting.
  • Experience driving organizational change in environments with inconsistent agile practices.
  • Experience in a regulated industry; healthcare or financial services preferred.
  • Strong coaching, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage stakeholders from individual contributors to CIO-level leadership.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create clear playbooks and executive materials.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP-ACC) preferred.
  • Experience transitioning PMO/governance to agile portfolio management preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess current agile practices across IT to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Design and implement an enterprise sprint framework including ceremonies, backlogs, and definitions of done.
  • Develop and maintain the Agile Practice Playbook and Jira standards, including workflows and reporting.
  • Partner with the Jira Administrator to ensure process governance.
  • Lead agile adoption across infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, data, and digital products.
  • Coach IT leadership and teams on agile practices such as capacity planning and impediment management.
  • Establish an Agile Community of Practice and develop internal agile champions.
  • Monitor agile maturity and report adoption progress to IT leadership.
  • Connect team-level execution with portfolio reporting and risk management.
