Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, ambiguous, cross-functional projects independently.
- Working understanding of benefits and employment compliance frameworks (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Experience managing vendors, brokers, or carriers, including negotiating renewals.
- Proven track record of turning cost and utilization data into actionable recommendations.
- Comfort adopting new tools, including AI, to improve efficiency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust tone for various stakeholders.
- Sound judgment operating with a high degree of independence in a fast-changing, multi-country environment.
- Degree in human resources, business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and ongoing improvement of health, retirement, wellness, and leave programs across multiple countries.
- Scope and lead ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives, such as country expansions, M&A integrations, and plan redesigns.
- Own vendor and broker relationships globally, including renewal negotiations and service accountability.
- Serve as the go-to resource on benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, GDPR, and international equivalents).
- Analyze program cost and utilization data to find savings and inform annual budgeting.
- Build benefits education and self-service resources to simplify complex programs for employees.
- Apply AI and new tools to accelerate reporting, analysis, or employee support.
