Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management.
- Experience with developer, infrastructure, or data-intensive products.
- Ability to read trace waterfalls and understand cardinality, sampling, and retention costs.
- Experience working as a peer to engineers on technical products.
- Independent domain ownership experience.
- Fluency with data and the ability to write own queries.
- Experience with observability, APM, or monitoring preferred.
- Experience with AI or agent-facing developer tooling is a plus.
- Experience owning consumption-based pricing is a plus.
- Active usage of Next.js or Vercel is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own strategy and roadmap for Vercel's observability products from ingestion to debug surfaces.
- Turn ambiguous signals from support, customer interviews, and usage data into a sequenced plan.
- Partner with engineering on scoping and design on data legibility.
- Define native features versus integrations with third-party observability vendors.
- Collaborate with Enterprise customers and Sales to address observability needs.
- Own pricing and packaging decisions with Finance and GTM.
- Write launch narratives and define performance metrics.
