Requirements
- Degree in mechanical engineering or relevant technical field.
- 1-5 years of sales experience in a manufacturing or technological environment.
- Strong interest in technology and learning about technological products.
- Experience in a technical field, sales, and/or customer support.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools for productivity and decision-making.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements.
- Ability to safely lift, move, or position materials weighing up to 90 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate FARO Creaform technology to potential customers.
- Participate in trade shows, technical events, open-houses, and sales meetings.
- Manage sales opportunities and follow-ups using the CRM system.
- Identify customer needs and specifications for sales quotes.
- Provide technical support and follow-ups to customers during evaluation periods.
- Report progress on sales activities and provide forecasts on a weekly basis.
- Develop a network of contacts and clients within the designated territory.
- Manage existing customer relationships over the entire product life cycle.
- Protect profit margins by managing travel efficiency and providing value.
