Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience with a demonstrated understanding of the complete sales cycle.
- Proven ability to prospect, develop opportunities, deliver presentations, negotiate, and close sales.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation, relationship-building, and consultative selling capabilities.
- Proficiency with computers and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize activities, manage a geographic territory, and remain accountable for sales results.
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Must reside within the Great Plains sales territory.
- Comfort with customer travel and participation in conferences, trade shows, seminars, and other industry events.
- Previous medical device or healthcare sales experience is preferred.
- Experience working with eye care professionals or in clinical environments is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and qualify new sales prospects across the assigned Great Plains territory using regional market knowledge and prospecting strategies.
- Build relationships with eye care professionals and guide prospective customers through the complete sales cycle, from initial engagement to product demonstration and closing.
- Present and demonstrate visual electrophysiology products, clearly communicating their technical, clinical, and customer value.
- Achieve or exceed monthly revenue and profit objectives through disciplined territory management and effective sales execution.
- Manage the territory independently, including planning customer activity and controlling travel and other business expenses.
- Conduct or support customer training to promote effective product adoption and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain regular communication with management regarding sales activity, pipeline development, customer relationships, and key opinion leader engagement.
- Represent the portfolio at conferences, trade shows, seminars, and other relevant industry events.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information within CRM systems and provide timely sales reporting.
