Requirements
- Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
- HR experience leading initiatives across regions within a technology business.
- Proven people management experience.
- Experience in business partnering with senior stakeholders.
- Experience working in a remote-first organization.
- Ability to leverage data to make informed decisions.
- Knowledge and practical implementation of HR practices and employment law across EMEA.
- Experience in handling and overseeing complex employee relations matters across multiple jurisdictions.
- Fluent in business English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
- Professional HR qualification (CIPD/SHRM or other) (Nice-to-have).
- Experience with immigration policies and mobility processes (Nice-to-have).
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale Canonical’s regional HR team.
- Deliver precise and compliant HR operations with high accuracy.
- Collaborate with the broader People team to standardize processes across regions.
- Manage talent development, succession planning, performance assessments, onboarding, and engagement initiatives.
- Partner with senior managers on organizational design, rewards, and workforce planning.
- Advise managers on complex employee relations issues across multiple countries.
- Support the delivery of training and development programs.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Design and implement global HR policies and business-critical projects.
