Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6 or more years of experience in health care strategy, consulting, insurance product, market strategy or related functions
  • Experience supporting ACA/QHP health insurance markets
  • Experience leading programs within a matrixed organization
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
  • MBA or advanced degree (preferred)
  • Experience with market entry strategy, portfolio optimization, or provider/network strategy development (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ACA market dynamics and competitive landscapes (preferred)
  • Exposure to value-based care, strategic partnerships, or healthcare ecosystem strategy (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop recommendations on market strategies focused on growth, retention, and competitive positioning across assigned markets
  • Analyze market dynamics, product performance, competitive intelligence, and regulatory trends to inform recommendations
  • Partner with market leadership to prioritize opportunities and support multi-year planning efforts
  • Lead analyses supporting new market entry, expansion, and strategic growth opportunities
  • Develop business cases related to market growth, partnerships, network strategy, and portfolio investments
  • Evaluate market receptivity, competitive landscapes, provider dynamics, and financial performance indicators
  • Lead strategic initiatives aligned with organizational and market specific priorities
  • Summarize strategic intelligence into relevant recommendations and executive-ready presentations
