Requirements
- 7+ years of successful experience in commercial sales training or equivalent medical/biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience.
- 4-year degree in business, life sciences, healthcare, education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies for both onsite and virtual training.
- Familiarity with commercial medical sales into physician offices in the IVD or LDT space.
- Proven track record of sales territory management.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) and Salesforce.
- Strong project management and time management skills with the ability to meet milestones.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to travel 15-25% of the time as needed for training.
- Regional or National Sales Trainer experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute the annual training plan and strategy for the Prosigna sales team.
- Manage the onboarding process for new sales representatives, including training calls and field ride-alongs.
- Develop and update training content in written and video formats in collaboration with cross-functional departments.
- Facilitate classroom and virtual training workshops, covering new customers, products, and markets.
- Conduct ongoing gap analyses and assess training effectiveness via proficiency and competency assessments.
- Participate in the commercial strategic planning process and ensure all training materials follow regulatory and MLR compliance requirements.
