Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience, including sales training, curriculum design, or field enablement.
- Direct experience navigating MLR/promotional review (PRC) processes and pharmaceutical compliance requirements.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams under launch timelines.
- Familiarity with learning technologies and CRM-enabled training tools (e.g., Veeva, LMS platforms).
- Prior people leadership experience, or completion of a formal people leadership development program, preferred.
- Prior experience supporting a product launch, new hire academy, or national sales meeting strongly preferred.
- Cardiovascular and/or chronic care therapeutic experience preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnight trips outside the local area.
Responsibilities
- Own the design and delivery of the new hire sales academy, including disease state, product, competitive, and selling skills curricula.
- Build certification standards and assessments to validate new hire readiness prior to field deployment.
- Develop, maintain, and version-control the core sales training curriculum across live, virtual, and digital formats.
- Serve as the Sales Training team's primary liaison to Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Compliance for the professional promotion (MLR/PRC) review process.
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale company meetings, including product launch meetings and national sales meetings.
- Manage submission, tracking, and approval of training-related materials through the promotional review process.
