Requirements
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in corporate development, business development, healthcare strategy, or mergers and acquisitions.
- Significant experience within ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, or hospitals is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success originating, structuring, negotiating, and closing complex healthcare partnerships or acquisitions.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships with physician owners, health system executives, and senior business leaders.
- Strong understanding of ASC operations, physician practice dynamics, healthcare finance, and transaction economics.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MHA, or another advanced business degree preferred.
- Prior experience in a private equity-backed healthcare organization is strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel regularly for physician meetings, health system engagement, and industry networking.
- Strong strategic thinking, business judgment, and ability to work with autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of high-value ambulatory surgery center partnership opportunities across existing and new markets.
- Develop targeted outreach strategies for physician groups, health systems, and other key healthcare stakeholders.
- Analyze market opportunities using physician alignment, demographics, competitive dynamics, referral patterns, and broader healthcare trends.
- Lead consultative discussions and presentations that communicate the partnership model, investment approach, and value proposition.
- Originate, structure, negotiate, and close complex joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and acquisitions.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Operations, and Clinical teams to ensure partnerships are financially sound and compliant.
- Support the transition from signed agreements through implementation while maintaining strong partner relationships.
