Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building networks, partnerships, or supply from scratch in a marketplace, gig-economy, or two-sided platform business.
- Demonstrated track record of setting market-prioritization and expansion strategy.
- Experience opening new markets or networks from scratch.
- Success in recruiting and vetting service providers, gig workers, or caregivers at scale.
- Demonstrated ability managing or mentoring a small team, setting territory goals, and holding staff accountable.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with external partners.
- Must have a strong internet connection, a quiet space to take calls, and a professional, distraction-free environment.
- Must reside in an eligible US state, excluding AK, HI, ME, MS, NH, NM, ND, OK, RI, and WV.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and playbook for building and scaling the backup care network, including market prioritization and expansion sequencing.
- Translate strategy into concrete outreach plans and territory goals for the team.
- Lead grassroots outreach to daycare centers, elder care facilities, and local backup care providers.
- Manage end-to-end in-home provider partnerships and recruit caregivers to ensure network coverage.
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements while managing terms for coverage, cost, and quality.
- Collaborate with Trust & Safety to ensure provider credentialing and background checks meet standards.
- Track and report on network health metrics, including geographic coverage, density, and time-to-fill.
- Manage and coach a small team of network builders and recruiters.
