Requirements
- Completed a tertiary qualification in Drafting or Building Design.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architectural Technician / Draftsperson or related role.
- Extensive knowledge of building standards and regulations.
- Minimum of 3 years of Revit experience with a core focus on large-scale drawing packages and complex 3D modelling.
- Advanced computer literacy with specific expertise in CAD/BIM software.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Extensive experience in the technical documentation and detailing phase.
- Proven ability to develop detailed drawings that balance creative design with practical buildability.
- Strong organizational skills to manage documentation across a diverse project portfolio.
- Australian experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Rhino3D is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality detailed design and DA drawing packages.
- Produce comprehensive construction documentation sets accurate and ready for regulatory review.
- Act as the internal expert on building codes, standards, and regulations to ensure Building Permit compliance.
- Review and integrate consultant drawings into a cohesive documentation set.
- Lead construction services by responding to builder RFIs and resolving technical issues.
- Mentor the wider team and optimize CAD/BIM systems and processes.
- Prioritize and manage documentation workloads across multiple projects.
