Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in email marketing, growth marketing, or marketing automation.
- Hands-on experience with a CDP (Twilio Segment preferred).
- Direct experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or Customer.io).
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute segmentation using first-party behavioral and transactional data.
- Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, email deliverability best practices, and list hygiene.
- Experience working cross-functionally with data engineering, analytics, and product teams.
- Experience with direct mail programs or omnichannel orchestration.
- Familiarity with subscription or auto-renew business models.
- Active, hands-on experience using AI tools in marketing workflows.
- Experience in a regulated or compliance-sensitive vertical.
- Ability to work from home during core US business hours.
- Ability to travel for company and team meetings (1-2 times per year).
Responsibilities
- Lead audience segment buildout, managing event taxonomy and identity resolution rules.
- Own end-to-end email marketing, including campaign strategy, segmentation, automation flows, and A/B testing.
- Enforce data hygiene, compliance protocols (CAN-SPAM), and unsubscribe/suppression management.
- Collaborate with the data team to maintain a subscriber data governance framework and CDP data structure.
- Drive omni-channel strategies by aligning direct mail logistics with digital campaigns.
- Deploy AI tools for send-time optimization, predictive segmentation, and performance analytics.
- Manage reporting dashboards connecting engagement metrics to revenue contribution.
- Evaluate and recommend MarTech tools to support automation maturity.
- Provide managerial oversight for one or more team members.
