Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience with leadership responsibility for commercial systems in life sciences/pharma.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading people and managing technical or business-facing teams.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with CRM technologies such as Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault CRM, or Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud.
  • Proven experience managing CRM operations, release management, platform governance, and integrations.
  • Demonstrated success in leading CRM transformation initiatives including implementation, migration, and change management.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial business processes and customer engagement models.
  • Experience evaluating CRM platforms, vendor assessment, and planning transitions to future-state ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with broader commercial tech including Marketing Automation, CDP, Data Warehousing, and Integration Platforms.
  • Understanding of GxP, GDPR, HIPAA, and pharmaceutical compliance requirements.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% for planning sessions and major project milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational management and strategic evolution of commercial technology platforms supporting Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Marketing teams.
  • Partner with senior business stakeholders to develop technology roadmaps aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Serve as a technology advisor to executive leaders to translate strategic priorities into scalable solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for platform performance, user experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Own operational oversight of CRM platforms, ensuring reliability, availability, performance, and security.
  • Establish governance frameworks for system enhancements, configuration changes, and lifecycle activities.
  • Lead CRM transformation initiatives including implementation, migration, and business process redesign.
  • Manage relationships with managed service providers, vendors, and external technology partners.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop internal IT professionals and external partners.
