Requirements
- 8+ years of experience recruiting for Water/Wastewater, Drinking Water, or Stormwater Engineers.
- Experience recruiting for Transportation, Roadway, Traffic, or Land Development Civil Engineers.
- Demonstrated ability in candidate sourcing, networking, and proactive outreach.
- Well-established professional network within the AEC industry.
- Strong interviewing skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in ATS software and general computer systems.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to take ownership of recruitment outcomes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to conduct intake meetings.
- Draft job descriptions and provide insights on compensation and market trends.
- Proactively source and recruit technical and professional talent nationwide.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews with detailed written summaries.
- Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews.
- Prepare and extend job offers, negotiating terms to secure successful hires.
- Track candidate information and progress using the ATS.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Deliver exceptional candidate experiences through regular feedback.
