Requirements
- 8+ years of recruiting experience focused on A/E/C technical talent.
- Recent experience recruiting for Transportation, Water/Wastewater, Drinking Water, or Stormwater Engineering roles.
- Demonstrated expertise recruiting in Water, Wastewater, Roadway, Traffic, or Land Development civil engineering.
- Proven track record in proactive candidate sourcing, direct outreach, and network building.
- Established professional network within the A/E/C industry.
- Strong interviewing and candidate evaluation capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting software.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Capacity to adapt to fast-paced environments with changing hiring priorities.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from intake and role definition to offer negotiation and placement.
- Partner with hiring managers to define staffing requirements, market conditions, and job descriptions.
- Source and engage engineering talent across water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation, roadway, traffic, and land development sectors.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines using industry networks, direct outreach, and recruiting tools.
- Review resumes and conduct thorough phone screens with clear assessments for hiring managers.
- Coordinate the interview process and maintain consistent communication with stakeholders.
- Prepare, extend, and negotiate offers to drive successful conversions.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and progress tracking within the ATS.
- Ensure recruiting activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.
