Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a Principal PM, GPM, Director, or comparable role.
- Proven track record shipping recommendations, search, ranking, or personalization systems in B2C products.
- Deep understanding of ML lifecycle (data pipelines, feature engineering, training, deployment, monitoring).
- Ability to articulate tradeoffs between business objectives and user-perceived relevance.
- Strong technical fluency to act as a peer to senior ML Engineering Managers.
- Proficiency with AI/LLM tools for prototyping and data analysis.
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative customer research.
- Ability to influence org-level product strategy and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end personalization strategy, KPIs, quality bar, and business impact.
- Define and articulate the two-year product horizon for personalization and discovery.
- Partner with ML Engineering to translate business problems into technical direction.
- Set the quality standards for ML-powered recommendations and discovery experiences.
- Guide company-wide strategy on ML investment and prioritization.
- Utilize AI-native workflows for prototyping, analysis, and execution.
- Mentor and develop other PMs to raise the standard of the product organization.
