Requirements
- 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience.
- Proven experience supporting multiple U.S.-based clients simultaneously.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Advanced experience with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and/or Enterprise.
- Experience with AP/expense platforms like Bill.com and Ramp.
- Proficiency with payroll platforms including Gusto, ADP, and Paylocity.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH).
- Full-cycle accounting experience including month-end close and reconciliations.
- Strong client-facing communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple client deadlines and competing priorities.
- Self-starter with strong ownership and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Own month-end close processes across multiple U.S.-based client accounts.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank/balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Process payroll and manage employee setup within systems like Gusto, ADP, and Paylocity.
- Prepare and file U.S. state sales tax returns.
- Support clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Review and improve accounting workflows, internal controls, and documentation.
- Communicate financial data and insights directly to U.S. business owners.
