Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; CFP, CFA, or advanced degree is a plus.
- Active Series 65 license required.
- Approximately 4–10 years of relevant financial services experience, preferably within investment management or portfolio consulting.
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing direct reports.
- Comprehensive understanding of capital markets, portfolio design, investment management, and portfolio implementation.
- Strong knowledge of investment vehicles, models, platforms, and both public and private markets.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and analytical reporting.
- Familiarity with Orion and Morningstar is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 5–10%.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support a team of Portfolio Consultants, establishing clear expectations and helping team members maximize their performance.
- Strategically allocate team resources and manage capacity to support key performance indicators and service requirements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, workflows, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure Wealth Advisor teams and clients receive a high-quality, concierge-level service experience across all portfolio consulting activities.
- Clearly communicate investment philosophies and portfolio strategies to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Lead presentations and educational discussions on investment topics for Wealth Advisor teams.
- Own standardized investment workflows, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and appropriate controls.
- Manage trade corrections and develop processes designed to minimize errors and improve trading accuracy.
