Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive US benefits experience, including program strategy and design.
- 3+ years leading a benefits function, managing staff, or directing brokers and vendors.
- Proven experience with full benefits renewal cycles and open enrollment execution.
- Deep expertise in health and welfare programs and benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, NDT, 5500s).
- Experience scaling benefits for technology companies.
- Prior experience with benefits integration for M&A activities.
- Experience with international or global benefits administration.
- Workday Benefits proficiency.
- Advanced Google Sheets or Excel skills for complex data analysis.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, design, and roadmap for US and global benefits programs.
- Define, track, and report on program metrics such as cost, utilization, and participation.
- Lead and develop the benefits function, managing staff and vendor partnerships.
- Manage vendor relationships, including selection, RFPs, and contract renewals.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
- Oversee annual Open Enrollment strategy, execution, and post-enrollment reconciliation.
- Manage benefits data accuracy and integrations within Workday.
- Lead benefits integration efforts for mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
