Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience developing renewable energy or BESS projects.
- Strong commercial, financial, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in negotiation and stakeholder management.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Experience managing development budgets, schedules, and project economics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in physical activity as required for site visits.
- 25% travel expected, primarily for team events and company meetings.
- Strong interest in the Clean Energy Transition.
- Proficiency with Smartsheet and Microsoft Excel preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of accountability for assigned projects from commercial handoff through Financing Ready/NTP.
- Lead and manage cross-functional pods of subject matter experts to advance project milestones.
- Balance project schedule, budget, risk, customer commitments, and investment returns.
- Assess and mitigate commercial, technical, permitting, procurement, and financial risks.
- Deliver financeable, construction-ready projects to the PMO.
- Own integrated development plans and direct execution across engineering, legal, and procurement teams.
- Manage development budgets and maintain unlevered financial models.
- Lead engagement with customers, landowners, utilities, and community stakeholders.
