Requirements
- University or college degree in Life Sciences or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- At least 12 years of relevant clinical research experience within a pharmaceutical company, CRO, or comparable environment.
- At least 8 years of experience with full project management responsibility.
- At least 6 years of supervisory or people leadership experience.
- Strong financial acumen with success managing P&L or portfolio-level budgets.
- Extensive knowledge of the clinical development lifecycle and ICH GCP.
- Expertise in RWE and Phase IV delivery models, resource planning, and budget development.
- Proven ability to lead teams, support succession planning, and build organizational capabilities.
- Strong strategic planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills for executive-level engagement.
- Fluent in written and verbal English.
- Willingness and ability to travel 20–30% domestically and internationally.
- PMP certification or clinical research certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the operational, financial, and quality performance of a global RWE and Phase IV project management portfolio.
- Own P&L performance, financial objectives, market expansion, and budget management.
- Develop and optimize resourcing models, budgets, and pricing strategies in partnership with Commercial and Finance leadership.
- Support business development through bid defenses, portfolio planning, and strategic account management.
- Build and develop a high-performing project management leadership team through talent development and organizational effectiveness.
- Implement risk management practices, project tools, and performance measurement processes.
- Promote a client-focused culture and drive departmental initiatives to improve end-to-end business performance.
