Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- At least 5 years of business development experience within the Clinical Research, Pharmaceutical, or Biotech industry.
- At least 4 years of experience engaging directly with mid-level and executive-level decision makers.
- Proven track record of achieving significant sales targets and expanding client portfolios.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic selling, negotiation, executive presentations, and financial acumen.
- Working knowledge of drug discovery and development principles.
- Ability to travel frequently, up to 50% based on business needs.
- Flexibility to participate in meetings across multiple time zones and occasionally work extended hours.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, high-value business development opportunities across strategic accounts.
- Collaborate across business units to identify, position, and win multi-unit opportunities.
- Establish and manage relationships with client stakeholders at executive levels.
- Execute client call plans and manage a strong, qualified opportunity pipeline.
- Lead client presentations, proposals, and complex sales pursuits through to completion.
- Negotiate directly with major clients to support satisfaction and retention.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on sales activity and commercial performance.
