Requirements
- 10+ years of outside solution sales experience or 5+ years of healthcare staffing sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated success generating new business and achieving sales objectives.
- Proven ability to present services and solutions to C-suite executives and hospital leaders.
- Strong prospecting, cold-calling, consultative selling, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage escalated client situations professionally and with sound judgment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable productivity software.
- CRM experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with no major driving violations.
- Willingness and ability to travel 35–50% within a multi-state territory.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with territory goals and organizational objectives.
- Proactively research, identify, and qualify new business opportunities through phone, email, networking, and other prospecting channels.
- Conduct cold calls and outreach to prospective healthcare clients and decision-makers.
- Schedule and lead in-person meetings with hospital and healthcare executives.
- Negotiate and close new business contracts while maintaining focus on revenue objectives.
- Partner with recruiting teams to transition new clients and coordinate the handoff of physician searches.
- Gather and interpret client information and market data to recommend appropriate recruitment strategies.
