Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a related field preferred.
- 2–5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client management within due diligence, environmental consulting, engineering, or CRE services.
- Proven experience selling due diligence services (PCA, Phase I, Phase II, or related consulting services).
- Strong understanding of how both environmental and physical risks impact deal execution and underwriting.
- Experience working with commercial real estate stakeholders (lenders, investors, developers, etc.).
- Ability to navigate complex, relationship-driven sales cycles.
- Existing Midwest relationships strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel throughout the Midwest region (up to ~25%) for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
Responsibilities
- Lead sales strategy and execution for full-service due diligence offerings across the Midwest territory.
- Drive new business aligned to commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, refinancing, dispositions, and development projects.
- Build and expand relationships with lenders, private equity firms, developers, owners, REITs, brokers, and legal counsel active across Midwest markets.
- Position Bureau Veritas as a single-source partner for environmental and property condition risk evaluation.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure scoping accuracy and quality delivery.
- Develop and execute a territory-specific sales plan, including pipeline management and forecasting.
- Establish strong market presence across key Midwest hubs by embedding within the CRE transaction ecosystem.
