Requirements
- 10+ years of experience steering application and information security strategy in compliance-heavy environments.
- Background as a senior security engineer with technical depth for hands-on work.
- Proven track record of mentoring and growing engineers.
- Demonstrated experience turning security signals into prioritized action through risk-based triage.
- Experience using AI and automation to scale security coverage.
- Ability to influence engineering squads and shape culture without formal authority.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, complex, and ever-evolving environment.
- Strong preference for experience with fintech compliance requirements.
- Ability to operate as a player-coach while maintaining hands-on technical involvement.
- Fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Own vulnerability management end to end, covering reporting, triage, mitigation, and long-term application security strategy.
- Build a structured, risk-ranked approach to remediation for the organization.
- Establish clear, company-wide reporting on vulnerability posture for leadership.
- Set and deliver an AppSec roadmap, bringing delivery expectations and accountability to the team.
- Partner with engineering squads to embed proactive security processes into their existing workflows.
- Multiply team impact through automation and AI-driven scaling.
- Grow and mentor engineers toward staff-level capability.
- Support compliance obligations across ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and GDPR from a security perspective.
