Requirements
- Background as an ex-engineer, ex-founder, or ex-solutions engineer.
- Proven experience writing real code and shipping technical products.
- Strong technical understanding of APIs, CLIs, and systems architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AI tooling and ability to prototype in code.
- Experience working within a startup environment with comfort in ambiguity.
- Ability to travel within European countries without visa delays.
- Familiarity with developer tools is preferred.
- Excellent written communication skills for an async-first, document-heavy culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop the company vision and product direction for AI testing, monitoring, and observability.
- Define the product's point of view on reliability for AI-generated code and agent-driven workflows.
- Collaborate directly with the SVP of Product Engineering on product strategy.
- Represent Checkly to customers, sales teams, and developer communities.
- Prototype features and pressure-test technical viability as part of the product development process.
- Own end-to-end outcomes in an async-first, lean team environment.
