Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, quality engineering, or a closely related role.
- Demonstrated experience testing database-driven applications and validating backend data.
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database experience, including the ability to investigate and troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar technologies.
- Experience testing REST APIs and web services using Postman, Newman, or comparable tools.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies, plans, and scenarios for new and legacy applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, API, end-to-end, and data validation testing across complex environments.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using Java, Python, JavaScript, or comparable technologies.
- Write complex SQL queries and validate data across SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Validate data flows between applications, APIs, databases, file exchanges, and third-party systems.
- Test REST APIs and web services using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Partner with developers and product teams to reproduce defects, validate fixes, and improve software quality.
- Support performance, scalability, reliability, and release testing activities.
