Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, or SDET roles.
- Experience leading quality engineering initiatives across multiple teams.
- Proven experience designing agentic or AI-assisted quality workflows, including LLM evaluation and calibration.
- Experience designing modern automated testing systems for enterprise SaaS applications.
- Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in Java and TypeScript.
- Experience with evidence-based release governance, release gates, and sign-off accountability.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native applications, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, and ability to influence engineering strategy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the expansion of the quality operating model across all organizational product lines.
- Operate and harden the pipeline where AI agents generate, maintain, and execute test coverage including API, UI, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Manage the review-and-activation loop for test drafts to ensure throughput meets service level agreements.
- Enforce release-gate discipline by managing execution records as evidence, explicit exit criteria, and waiver tracking.
- Steward the manual testing catalog and implement a demotion loop to retire manual tests as automation matures.
- Build an evaluation discipline for agent-driven quality, including establishing a calibration corpus of golden human verdicts.
- Define and track engineering quality metrics such as escape rate, waiver frequency, and deployment success to improve reliability.
