Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building scalable distributed systems.
- Absolute mastery of Java, Spring Boot, and Python for secure, high-throughput, cloud-native backend systems.
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience designing, shipping, and maintaining production AI-enabled or AI-native applications.
- Practical experience with orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI.
- Deep understanding of RAG, tool calling, prompt engineering, context/state management, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
- Strong background in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms like Kafka.
- Proven experience implementing enterprise AI guardrails, observability, latency/cost monitoring, and automated evaluation pipelines.
- Track record of driving technical direction and architecture decisions without formal authority.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and adoption of AI-native capabilities across the billing and revenue cycle platform.
- Build production-ready, AI-enabled services that combine application logic, APIs, and AI models.
- Architect robust and scalable solutions while influencing technical strategy across teams.
- Integrate LLMs, ML models, and external AI services with enterprise-grade reliability and observability.
- Develop workflows that utilize AI with clear fallback behavior, evaluation, and human review.
- Design, test, and deploy scalable applications using Spring Boot, Java, and React.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks across frontend and backend layers.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
