Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, SDET, or comparable technical roles.
- Leadership experience across multiple engineering teams.
- Experience designing or implementing AI-assisted or agentic quality workflows.
- Strong background designing modern automated testing systems for enterprise SaaS applications.
- Strong software engineering capabilities (Java and TypeScript preferred).
- Experience with evidence-based release governance, release gates, and quality metrics.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native applications, CI/CD, and microservices.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, REST Assured, JUnit/TestNG, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with test management systems like Xray or Jira.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the quality engineering operating model across multiple product lines.
- Lead systems for AI-agent generated and maintained test coverage across API, UI, and integration layers.
- Establish and enforce evidence-based release governance, including exit criteria and waiver processes.
- Build evaluation frameworks for AI quality, including agent calibration and escape-rate analysis.
- Champion developer-owned quality by embedding validation practices into CI/CD workflows.
- Advance exploratory validation and persona-based walkthroughs.
- Mentor engineers and QA professionals through pairing and technical design discussions.
- Monitor engineering quality metrics and evaluate emerging testing technologies.
