Requirements
- 5+ years of deep backend engineering experience.
- Elite Golang proficiency as main tool.
- Strong production experience in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js).
- Extensive hands-on experience architecting and maintaining production event streams using Apache Kafka.
- Understanding of Kafka consumer groups, offset management, and message delivery guarantees.
- Real-world experience deploying, running, and debugging containerized Go services within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes.
- Advanced understanding of data modeling, caching, and indexing in Redis and MongoDB.
- Prior experience working in small engineering teams or early-stage startups.
- Ability to pass a rigorous technical assessment evaluating Go concurrency, system design, and Kafka event handling.
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain high-throughput backend microservices utilizing Golang and Node.js (TypeScript).
- Own and evolve event-streaming infrastructure using Apache Kafka, managing partitions and asynchronous workflows.
- Architect, scale, and optimize data layers using Redis and MongoDB.
- Deploy and manage services within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes environments.
- Translate product requirements into clean, scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Solve complex backend calculations natively within business logic for gaming or financial systems.
