Requirements

  • Technical aptitude and demonstrated ability to operate at the intersection of operations, technology, and engineering.
  • Interest, education, or professional background in engineering, computer science, technical operations, or a technical problem-solving discipline.
  • 1–3+ years of experience working directly with external technical partners, clients, customers, or similar stakeholders.
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting API documentation and working with XML and JSON data formats.
  • Strong understanding of technical troubleshooting principles and the ability to systematically investigate integration and data-flow issues.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when validating configurations, payloads, integrations, and documentation.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Strong ownership and organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with API testing tools (nice to have).
  • Experience in performance marketing, lead generation, or affiliate marketing (nice to have).

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical onboarding for new media and client partners, managing integration setup from initial configuration through launch.
  • Provide hands-on support for APIs and integrations, including XML payload validation, postback URL configuration, and partner data-flow troubleshooting.
  • Conduct comprehensive QA and launch-readiness reviews to confirm integrations are accurate, functional, and ready for production.
  • Serve as the first line of technical support for external partners, independently resolving configuration, API, data-formatting, and integration issues.
  • Diagnose integration failures systematically by identifying patterns, comparing payloads, isolating root causes, and determining when engineering escalation is necessary.
  • Communicate technical findings clearly to external partners, translating complex issues into practical and actionable guidance.
  • Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations teams to facilitate deeper technical investigation.
  • Own and maintain technical documentation, including API guides, onboarding playbooks, and integration specifications.
  • Standardize onboarding and integration workflows to improve consistency and accelerate implementation timelines.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and optimize operational processes.
